EMG History
Ergonomic Manufacturing has been in business since 1984 manufacturing local and quality products to meet the always changing industry.
1984
Began manufacturing material handling equipment.
1985
We introduced the Vacuhoist product line.
1993
The ErgoSys Rail was designed and manufactured to keep up with the ever-expanding Global Distribution Network. This was a natural expansion for the hoist line, as every Vacuhoist sold was hung from a crane rail system, so why not ensure the success of the installation and supply the entire system. This further expanded our customization capabilities; now, the entire package could be tailored to fit the customers’ needs, from the ceiling to the product.
We introduce the smaller ESR 1 rail to use in VacuHoist installation with capabilities limited to 500lbs.
1995
The ESR 2 rail was introduced due to the popularity of the ErgoSys Rail in the marketplace. This product allows distributors to enjoy the use-friendly rail in larger capacities in conjunction with the ErgoSys Rail System the ESR 2 will allow capacities up to 4000 lbs.
1997
The needs of our primary customers for our Vacuhoist product line continued to expand again with the request for an entirely stainless rail system. In order to meet these needs, we began production of the ESR 1 in full 304 stainless construction for use in food and pharmaceutical wash down environments.
1998
We decided to introduce a highly corrosion resistant 316L stainless construction ESR 2 for severe duty applications. At this point we were able to offer the entire ErgoSys Rail product line in highly corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel.
1999
As the market continued to change with the ever-maturing Material Handling Market there was a need to manipulate and maneuver equipment rather than just lift and lower were necessary for lifting products. Our response to this request created the BalAir. This air balance was introduced affording the ability to build completely custom attachments for maneuvering and manipulating products never before possible with a VacuHoist. These attachments are built with completely integrated Air Logic for safety with air interlocking to prevent accidental release of parts.
2001
ArticuLift joins our product line as a fully integrated articulating pneumatic arm. This new system will allow us to reach, articulate, rotate, and manipulate products. We now have the ability to lift, lower, articulate or move virtually any product from 0 to 4,000 lbs.
2002 & 2003
We introduced Custom industrial manipulators to our product line-up.
